Partners for Life – Canadian Blood Services

OMISTA has joined with Canadian Blood Services as a Partner for Life. Partners for Life is a nationwide program in which OMISTA has made a commitment to save lives by pledging to donate a goal number of units. Any OMISTA employee or customer can help with OMISTA’s goal to save lives.

Reading Is Wild

OMISTA Credit Union was thrilled to be the title sponsor of the OMSTA Credit Union Reading Is Wild program from November 2011 to March 2014. An important focus for Credit Unions is education and providing wise financial guidance for its customers. The partnership with the Wildcats let OMISTA be part of another type of education, helping to ensure youth embrace reading and understand its importance.

To further encourgage students to read, for every book students read during the program they had $1 deposited to their OMISTA Credit Union Free & Easy savings account, up to a maximum of $25.
